Starting therapy both a daunting and exciting process. I will create a safe environment where you can feel comfortable in moments of discomfort. I strongly believe the relationship between therapist and client is the primary factor to change and growth within the individual. I emphasize importance on past/current relationships, believing that we are impacted and molded by our relationships with others. I maintain a strengths-based/humanistic approach to psychotherapy, while using a number of clinical tools (EMDR, Hypnotherapy, & Meditation) to cope with uncomfortable thoughts and feelings.
My practice is clinically grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy specializing in trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and addictions. I am trained in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, which is a gentle yet rapid healing approach using a deep state of relaxation and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
Healing throughout therapy comes from using a mix of concrete and abstract processes. We will identify areas in which you feel stuck and break down those barriers. I will help you strengthen your sense of self, better manage uncomfortable emotions and symptoms, reprocess old wounds, enhance your self worth/self esteem.
