The Psychological Services Center (PSC) is a nonprofit community mental health center established in the early 1970s. Our center provides counseling and psychological services for mental health and relationship issues, as well as comprehensive psychological assessments. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from Temple University and the surrounding communities. We welcome families and individuals from all backgrounds and lifestyles.
The PSC is a training clinic for doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology Program, one of the top programs in the country. Faculty include researchers in the fields of depression and anxiety. Most serve as editors of major research journals and have authored textbooks and treatment manuals which have gained international recognition.
We offer a variety of psychological treatments, including cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based, mindfulness-based, and relationship-based interventions. We also offer a variety of assessment services, including cognitive assessments for independent school admissions, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder evaluations, learning disability evaluations, neuropsychological evaluations, personality assessments, and diagnostic assessments
