Maybe you’re wondering - “What is Kintsugi?” Kintsugi (kint-sue-gee) is a Japanese art form used to repair broken pottery with gold or other precious metals. Restored pieces are viewed as beautiful and valuable in their own right, despite the imperfections caused by the break. I believe that going to therapy is a lot like the process of Kintsugi. I offer therapy to teens, young adults, and adults living with mental health concerns such as stress, depression and anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, family struggles, trauma, and PTSD.

I offer individual therapy to adults experiencing mental health challenges, including living with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, addiction struggles, self-esteem, and family/relationship conflict. I also have experience working with military veterans.

I’m interested in how trauma and life transitions impact how you feel about yourself and your relationship with the world. I will work with you on trauma, self-harm, identity and self-esteem, attachment struggles, individual, family, and group relationship dynamics, domestic violence, and relational boundaries – and how these factors and mental health symptoms play out in patterns in people’s lives. Note that I offer therapy to individuals and not group or family therapy sessions.
