You might be grieving the everyday chaos that used to define your life, questioning your purpose, or realizing that your role in your family, your work, and your relationships is shifting all at once.
Our sessions together can be a place where you get to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make space for your needs right in this moment in life. Here, you don’t have to hold it all together. We can unpack the grief and worry no one talks about, explore who you are outside of your caregiving roles, and help you feel more grounded.

I see problems as opportunities to grow whether I am working with a child, adolescent or adult, individually or in couples or family therapy, and whether it is a single symptom or incident, or long-standing difficulty that brings someone to therapy. I identify and help develop strengths as we explore and change thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationship patterns, and resolve difficulties that prevent someone from reaching their goals and creating a fulfilling life. My work with children involves helping them reach the appropriate developmental goals as they build the skills needed for life ahead.

You’ve done therapy before. You’ve gained insight, learned coping skills, and grown—but certain patterns still feel unshakable. Maybe depression lingers, trauma feels unresolved, or you keep hitting the same emotional walls. You want more than survival; you want transformation, a way to reconnect with yourself at a deeper level. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines guided therapy with ketamine to create a unique therapeutic window.

I will be with you as you explore and identify areas for change, find meaning, and recognize loss.
Just because you carry it well, doesn't mean it isn't heavy. You deserve more than just being seen. The world is a scary and ever-changing place. Dealing with uncertainty, transition, and challenges puts stress on relationships, and on personal values. Curiosity, mindfulness, and a dialectical approach makes it possible to find meaning, and even pleasure, in some of the most bleak situations, with the right support.

Whether you're feeling anxious, stuck, burnt out, or unsure of who you are or where you're headed, online therapy can offer space to slow down and reconnect. I work with adolescents (13–17) and young adults (18–25), especially those exploring identity, navigating life transitions, or balancing cultural and generational expectations. I’m formally trained in treatment of anxiety/OCD, sex and relationships, emotional abuse, codependency, and attachment; certified in complex trauma, personality disorders, and grief.
You've spent so much of your life overperforming in relationships, striving to earn love and worthiness. You’ve tried being perfect, doing more, and making sure everyone else is ok even if you're the one who's hurting. You're left anxious, resentful, and hiding your own needs to keep the peace. You may feel like other people's needs or problems are louder than your worth. Starting therapy might feel both hopeful and overwhelming. What if you start prioritizing yourself or saying "no" and your whole world falls apart? You just want to exist as you are, to know that you’re enough, and to receive the same love you offer to others.

Are you feeling stuck? I help clients feel seen, understood and empowered to create change in their lives and relationships. I see my role in the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst to help increase awareness and trust to support freedom of expression, insight, and healing. In therapy sessions, I work in collaboration with individuals and couples to identify areas that are inhibiting quality of life and focus on building existing strengths and new skills. I believe that each individual is an expert in their own lives and has the strengths and potential to actualize the change they want to see.

Life can move fast, and with it often comes unexpected challenges, transitions, and emotional turbulence. We all encounter seasons of life when coping feels difficult and overwhelming. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or simply a space to feel heard—you're in the right place. Taking the first step into therapy can be daunting. My goal is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental, yet challenging environment where you can explore your experiences. I offer psychodynamic therapy that helps uncover how early life experiences and important relationships have shaped the way you see yourself and the world around you.

Issues that I have been successful in dealing include depression, anxiety, acute and chronic illness, loss and grief, personality issues and relationships.
I believe that psychotherapy is best done as a collaborative process. I have the training and experience and you, the client, bring all you know about yourself and your life. Together, we develop goals, both long and short term, that hopefully will lead to active awareness, emotional relief and behavioral changes.

Love the life you lead! Reaching out is the 1st step toward achieving personal, professional or relationship goals. Therapy offers private time with support to take a fresh look at your situation, clarify goals and evaluate options. You bring YOU - your strengths and knowledge of your circumstances; I bring a fresh perspective and new skills. With over 20 years of experience in clinical practice and training, program design, and publishing, people I work with tell me I am easy to talk to, warm and non-judgmental. They appreciate my ability to 'keep it real,' helping develop practical solutions in brief or longer-term therapy.

Grief Therapists
How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.

When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.

Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.

What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
