I founded New Leaf Professional Counseling to offer pychotherapy for adults working through emotional disturbances, with concentration on interpersonal relationships, overcoming trauma, sexual abuse/domestic violence and mental health disorders. My therapeutic approach encompasses an integration of theoretical orientations based on an individual's clinical needs. I incorporate strategies from cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, humanistic and existential therapies in order to offer individualized treatment.

I’ve come to learn that substance use disorder is a co-occuring condition that is most often accompanied by struggles surrounding underaddressed or untreated depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State Scranton and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University. My work focuses on couples/marriage counseling. I have experience with a wide variety of relationship challenges that include infidelity, emotional development, polyamory, building healthy sexual relationships, effective communication styles, and conflict resolution skill building.

I am a licensed professional counselor and have been in practice for over 10 years. My partner is a counselor in the field for over 5 years. We are well versed in substance abuse issues/addiction issues, as well as anxiety, depression, and trauma. We believe that therapy should start with forming a connection between counselor and client, as well as providing and practicing coping skills during the initial session. We offer both in person and virtual therapy sessions, depending on what is best for the client. We have weekend and evening appointments and work with our clients to the best of our ability to meet their immediate needs.
