I also work with individuals who wish to explore aspects of their spirituality, as this can enhance your healing efforts.
I provide clients with a safe environment to open up about their problems. I help clients explore how the past can influence the present and identify ways to disrupt negative thinking/behaviors. While I offer feedback in sessions, my role is not to dispense advice. My goal is for clients to identify their own solutions.

I have a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just looking for someone to talk to who can offer fresh perspectives, I’m here for you.

We’re the right fit for people who feel like they’re carrying more than they can hold—but keep showing up anyway. Our clients are caring, capable, and exhausted by anxiety, grief, disconnection, or the pressure to have it all together. Some are navigating identity, family stress, or major transitions. Others just want to feel like themselves again. Whether they’re 5 or 65, single or partnered, they want real support from people who show up. They’re not looking for surface talk—they want honesty, depth, and a therapist who genuinely cares.

My ideal client is someone ready to embrace their story and transform it into their strength. They might be grappling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or the aftermath of trauma, feeling stuck and craving a deeper connection to themselves. Their greatest need is a safe space to explore these feelings, along with guidance to find balance in their lives. Ultimately, they want to feel empowered and free, discovering joy in mindful movement and intuitive eating. They’re seeking not just healing, but a way to thrive—because they deserve to live fully and authentically.

I have experience working with all ages. I integrate my training and skills so you will feel seen, heard and understood. The patterns we have established in our thinking, feeling, and ways of interacting with others and ourselves often serve to protect us. Often are ways we had to survive. It is with this perspective we can find a road map to healing. I am honored to bear witness to my client's life stories. This is how we can resolve histories of trauma, anxiety, depression or family conflict. When with younger children, I take a playful approach to move into their worlds - going beneath the behavior. See specialties below!

Spirituality Therapists

What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?

Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?

There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviors. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?

Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?

Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
