I have been in practice thirty years. I see psychotherapy as a process of increasing self awareness, developing a more realistic and tolerant self esteem, and identifying and working through losses, disappointments and relational conflicts. This process enables reduction in pain, greater self acceptance, and comfort in relationships and family. This process occurs in a collaborative effort between you the client, and myself. The safe environment of the office allows for the full expression and understanding of what you experience, think, and feel. Our work together enables symptom relief, greater personal understanding, growth, responsibility and contentment.

As a classically trained cognitive behavioral therapist, I am a firm believer in the notion that past traumas play-out in our adult lives.

Greetings and thank you for considering me as your provider for mental health services! I am a board certified, licensed professional counselor with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. I find a tremendous amount of satisfaction in assisting individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s greatest difficulties. Whether you are struggling with a chronic psychiatric condition, or facing an extremely difficult time in your life and are not sure what to do next, my commitment to you is walking with you and finding resolution.

My ideal client is motivated. I have been a licensed psychologist for 19 years. I graduated from Villanova University and worked as a cognitive therapist at the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Hospital before opening my own group practice, Addiction & Psychological Therapy. The group specializes in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive thinking, OCD, ADHD, depression, marital and family counseling, alcoholism and crisis clients, treating children, adolescents and adults. I also have a forensic program treating Anger Management and DUI's. We offer ARD & IPP Evaluations, Anger Management Evaluations, Drug and Alcohol Assessments and Mental Heath Evaluations, and Suboxin treatment.

We are passionate about working with adults and adolescents who struggle with the social, emotional, and behavioral challenges related to the diagnoses of ASD, ADD/ADHD, learning differences, parenting stressors and strategies, coping skills, relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, feelings of overwhelming stress, and grief/loss, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD.

I provide individual and group counseling services as well as educational programs across the life span. I operate from an existential, humanistic, person-centered philosophy that emphasizes meaning in one's life, self-actualization, responsibility, and relationships. I view counseling from a tripartite approach where I assist my clients with self-awareness, gaining knowledge, and developing strategies to manage effectively and successfully the various transitions they are experiencing in their lives. I employ my diverse training and integrate a multiplicity of therapeutic interventions that yield optimum results for the individual.
