I believe strongly in helping people move forward in their lives by recognizing their strengths and helping them solve their problems. I am an action oriented psychologist with both business and healthcare experience. My form of psychology is not to merely listen but identify problems and developing a plan of action. Often problems are based on transitions which are difficult for everyone. By identifying the issues, developing steps and solutions, individuals will move forward in their lives. Transitions are a difficult time for many individuals which may occur with new jobs, changes in life e.g. becoming an empty nester and/or facing retirement
I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy which is based on identifying problems and recommending useful steps to help the individual move forward in their life. Each client must be viewed as an individual. By understanding the individuals unique characteristics and strenghts and then developing steps and solutions, the issues will appear less overwhelming and challenging
Emphasis on transitions and identification of issues that are overwhelming to the individual for all adults.Very action and goal oriented. Short term therapy often helps a client identify their issues and move forward in their lives.
