My role is to support others to work towards their healing holistically; I help them to unpack the pain that exists and recognize the impact on their mind, body, spirit and relationships. t is my intention to break down barriers in areas related to relationships, divorce ,infidelity, blending families, adoption, anxiety, depression, and racial inequity in such a way that my clients feel more connected to their own sense of purpose & value.

Hello, and welcome to the Women's Counseling Center: counseling for women, by women. I use a solution focused, strengths based approach to help you build a meaningful and productive life. During my close to 20 years of service, I have collaborated with individuals over a variety of life changes from finding more satisfaction in careers and relationships, navigating family conflict and divorce , healing from trauma, caring for children with extraordinary needs, and learning new skills to address unwanted habits.

Currently, I am only accepting new couples for therapy. I am open to working with all couples: gay, lesbian, straight, alternative lifestyles. I work with couples that are dating, living together, considering marriage or married. I mostly use EFT, IMAGO and the Gottman method to help couples improve communication skills, work on conflict resolution, recover from infidelity, increase or rediscover intimacy or simply improve the overall quality of your relationship. In addition to working with couples that are seeking to improve their relationship, I also assist with separation and divorce counseling.

My practice helps Adult Clients (21 and over) better navigate life stresses, relieve emotional suffering, and become more resilient. We work in close partnership to best meet or exceed your goals. My focus includes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and/or other approaches as necessary. I combine my clinical experience, deep listening skills, and evidence-based approaches best suited to your needs and issues. What I offer is frequently a “good fit” for someone seeking lasting positive changes and personal growth.

My passion is working with individuals and couples to help them improve and strengthen their relationships. My approach is to assess family of origin, individual needs and behaviors, relational issues and cultural and social issues. I also incorporate emotions focused work, attachment theory, communication skills building and mindfulness practices to empower my clients to better understand themselves and their relationships for enhanced intimacy and satisfaction.
