I use an integrative approach that includes things like ERP, EMDR, Attachment Theory and somatic exercises; we’ll work together to figure out what feels right for you.
You’re tired. Tired of intrusive memories. Tired of scanning for danger. Tired of feeling “too much” or somehow never enough. Maybe trauma taught you to be hyper-independent, or your anxiety shows up as self doubt, perfectionism and panic. You’ve probably read dozens of profiles trying to find the therapist who feels safest, because lets be honest, starting therapy can feel awkward. You’re trusting a stranger to hold all your deepest thoughts. Good news though, we’re human too. I’m the type of therapist who will lovingly call you out when you need it, while giving you the safety and support you need to dive into the dark stuff.

“You’ve always had the power, my dear. You just had to learn it for yourself.” – L. Frank Baum. I’m glad you’re here. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, past trauma, or major life transitions and unsure how to move forward. Perhaps stress, emotions, or relationships feel unmanageable, or you’re seeking clarity and balance in your life. Adults and adolescents I work with often want relief from emotional distress, stronger coping skills, and a greater sense of confidence and control over their thoughts and behaviors.

I understand how heavy life can feel, how anxiety, grief, trauma, and stress can leave you exhausted and overwhelmed. I see your strength, even when you don’t feel strong. You may be carrying depression, OCD, or the weight of past trauma in both mind and body. You want to feel calmer, more connected, and more like yourself again. Together we’ll create a safe, supportive space to release what’s been held inside, ease the burden, and help you move toward healing, balance, and a life that feels lighter.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention ( ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you face fears in a gradual, supported way while building confidence.
Are you feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety or intrusive thoughts that won’t let up? Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition — a new career, relationship changes, or questioning your next chapter — and everything feels uncertain or overwhelming. If so, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with OCD, anxiety, and life transitions. OCD and anxiety can be exhausting — the constant doubt, mental rituals, avoidance, or need for reassurance can take over your day and leave you feeling frustrated or ashamed.

Life is constantly changing. It can become so overwhelming at times that we don’t even know where to start meeting those challenges. However, we don’t have to face them alone.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
