Our clients are changemakers, leaders, creatives, caregivers, and people craving deeper connection—in love, life, or both. You’ve mastered holding it together—at work, in relationships, maybe even in therapy—but it’s costing you. You show up for everyone else, yet under the surface you feel resentful, disconnected, or just plain tired. You’re burned out from over-functioning, exhausted by people-pleasing, and quietly craving a life that actually feels like yours. You’re not broken—but the tools that got you here aren’t working anymore. You want freedom. Let’s get you there.

It is a space to grow, heal, or make changes in your live that feel difficult. I work with clients who need help managing anxiety, are feeling sad or confused, or are going through a hard time. I see my job as sitting next to you, seeing the world through your eyes, and helping you come up with the plan that's right for you. I come from a relational and social justice perspective and bring tools from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based stress reduction.

I am also available to come into your home if that would be most helpful.

You're the one everyone leans on. You're kind, empathetic, and always there for others. On the outside, it looks like you have it together. But inside, you're overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted from trying to do everything "right". Saying no feels impossible; taking care of yourself feels selfish. You hold yourself to impossible standards and still feel like it's never enough. I work with Millennial and Gen Z women who are tired of people-pleasing, perfectionism, and putting themselves last. Together, we can explore the roots of these patterns and gently unlearn them using Art Therapy alongside CBT, DBT, and Positive Psychology.

Are you struggling and frustrated with life problems and traditional help is not working? I offer an organic blending of traditional eastern healing practices with western psychotherapy. This work helps you deepen your connection to the answers which are already within you. I just help you "see" them, and assist you in bridging a connection between the healthy self and those parts of you that are struggling to be healthy. I call these dissonant parts. These dissonant parts can create disorder and dysfunction. We work as partners on a path towards unity, health and well-being.

I care deeply about being a place where people can finally exhale. For some, therapy is the first space where they feel safe enough to say what’s actually been sitting underneath everything, without filtering, minimizing, or bracing for judgment. My work is rooted in understanding how our earliest relationships shape the way we move through the world. I’m especially drawn to attachment patterns, intergenerational trauma, and the lasting impact of parental or caregiver wounds. These experiences often show up quietly in relationships, in self-worth, and in the ways we protect ourselves without realizing it.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults seeking therapeutic treatment and psychological evaluations. The goal of treatment is to assist the individual in actualizing their potential through a strengths-based approach to cognitive behavioral techniques. It's important that each person understands their worth and utilizes the tools learned in therapy in their daily lives. In addition to individual therapy, I am also able to offer diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing as a means to understand complex issues and formulate the most appropriate treatment plan for each individual.

Psychotherapy may address specific concerns and it can also help you to live a richer and fuller life. Individuals often seek the support of a psychologist for many reasons, including stress, depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, and difficulty with transitions. I try to provide both support and insight to help individuals live a life that is more fulfilling and less difficult. Often, someone may express a concern about a child, a relationship, or work issues. I believe that change occurs within the context of the therapeutic relationship where the client and therapist work together a trusting environment.

Trauma can create a feeling within us that others won't accept us, see us or feel what we feel. It can leave us feeling scared, alone and judged. Life stressors can develop creating a mountain that seems too big to climb. Trauma can create a space where you don't have the words to describe what your are feeling and experiencing. You don't have to have the answers. Therapy is a journey of discovery and an experience of acceptance and safety. Healing occurs when we recognize where we have been and create new paths for our lives. I accompany people on their journey towards healing.

Psychodynamic Therapists
Is psychodynamic therapy evidence-based?
Studies have found psychodynamic therapy to be effective in treating conditions like social anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, some personality disorders, and depression; indeed, some studies have found it to be just as effective as CBT or medication. What’s more, several studies have found that the benefits of psychodynamic therapy tend to endure—even grow—long after treatment has ended.

How long does psychodynamic therapy last?
Unlike CBT and other more structured forms of therapy, psychodynamic therapy tends to be open-ended and may not be limited to a set number of sessions. It is common for clients to be in therapy for a year or longer and to see their therapist one to three times a week, though the exact schedule and timeline may vary depending on a client’s challenges and progress. However, brief psychodynamic therapy is available, which tends to be more goal-oriented and typically unfolds over 16 to 30 sessions.

Does psychodynamic therapy work?
Research finds that psychodynamic therapy can help someone manage or reduce symptoms of diagnosable mental health conditions like depression or anxiety. The modality may also offer a range of benefits that are harder to measure but just as valuable—such as increased self-worth or healthier relationships. While no therapy type will work for everyone, research and anecdotal evidence suggest that psychodynamic therapy can be highly effective.

What are the limitations of psychodynamic therapy?
Some meta-analyses have concluded that there is little evidence to suggest that psychodynamic therapy can effectively treat certain mental health conditions such as PTSD, OCD, or psychosis, though it is sometimes used to do so. More broadly, the open-ended, free-association structure of psychodynamic therapy may be frustrating for clients who prefer a more structured, time-limited, or goal-oriented approach.
