When you feel the glass is half empty, you need a space to be yourself, to share your perspective, practice wading through the discomfort, and leave in a way that allows you to continue what you want to give your attention to. I’m here in hopes that I can provide you with a space where you feel like a partner in the therapeutic relationship and not just a number on a chart. I believe that therapy works best when your therapist meets you where you are and listens to what you need. You are your own expert. If you don’t feel that way now, let’s try to get you there.

If you have a child who is struggling with behavioral issues and you just can't understand what is going on, come see me. I see children as young as 3 years old. Using play as their voice I will help your child with those issues by teaching coping skills and gently guiding them to think before acting. At times I will provide you with tools to use at home so your child has consistent support. I have experience working with children on the spectrum, ADHD, ADD, ODD, Conduct Disorder, and DMDD. I also have experience working with both children and adults with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and trauma.

"If you don't transform your grief, you will transmit it." -Tim Shriver. If you have experienced, or are experiencing, a loss and/or life transition, allow me to help you transform your grief so that you will not transmit it. I feel it is a privilege to walk beside those who are on a grief journey. I offer a safe, kind, compassionate, non-judgmental listening ear, and bereavement support. I have spent two decades helping adults, families and adolescents. I feel everyone has the opportunity to better their situation, and I offer hope and support in each client's journey. I do not enter any session with pre-planned ideas, and I feel adaptability and knowledge are my strengths. Although I may be the "expert" in psychology, I feel each client is the "expert" on themselves. I look forward to joining you in your journey, wherever you may wish to go. I have evening hours available.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions), or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions). It affects children, kids, teens and adults. Often the person carries out the behaviors to get rid of the obsessive thoughts, but this only provides temporary relief. Not performing the obsessive rituals can cause great anxiety. A person's level of OCD can be anywhere from mild to severe, but if severe and left untreated, it can destroy a person's capacity to function at work, at school or even to lead a comfortable existence in the home.
