Sessions might involve walking outdoors, playing sports, exercising, meditation, energy healing, or Brainspotting.
If you’ve been stuck rehashing the same stories, venting without real change, or leaving sessions unsure what actually improved, you’re not alone. You deserve more than just a place to talk—you deserve a space where you can take action, grow, and see real results. I work with individuals 14+, specializing in teens, young adults, women, athletes, and those navigating trauma. Therapy with me isn’t cold or clinical—I bring honesty, energy, and will challenge you to succeed. You’ll feel supported and empowered to build confidence, create healthier habits, strengthen relationships, and live more fully in the present while doing the work.

I know how infuriating it can be to find a therapist you can connect with, as I have personally fired 6 out of 7 of my own therapists. It’s important to note that I’m not your “typical therapist” (I dye my hair bright colors, will curse with you during sessions, and actively compete in powerlifting).

I use a combination of trauma-informed approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and play therapy for younger clients.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck after difficult experiences. Trauma can impact how we think, feel, and relate to others—but healing is possible when we feel safe, understood, and supported. During my time working as a drug and alcohol counselor, an intensive case manager, and hospice worker, I began to understand how trauma can affect every person differently. I specialize in working with teens and adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm.

We are dedicated to providing effective, researched based, creative interventions. In this private practice setting, you will find a safe place to explore, grow, and heal. We offer more than ‘talk therapy.’ Through art therapy and/or talk therapy, one can gain insight, make behavioral shifts, and learn new forms of coping. We focus on the whole person and believe that each individual already possesses all that they need to succeed. The creative process heals all; including those who are not artists. Together, we can meet virtually or in the studio.

I use approaches like ART, Brainspotting, mindfulness, and practical coping skills to help you feel calmer, more present, and better able to manage emotions, stress, and triggers in daily life.
You may look like you’re holding it all together—but inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally worn down. Your mind rarely slows, the past still affects the present, and you’re tired of just “getting through” each day. You want relief from the constant mental noise, steadier emotions, and a way to feel more grounded in your life. You’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, heal what still hurts, and feel more in control of how you move through the world.

My primary treatment is a neurological and somatic therapy technique called Brainspotting.
I love working with a variety of backgrounds and ages and providing a space that is warm, open and validating. I have a particular passion for working with those who are dealing with the effects of childhood trauma, whether that be emotional, verbal, physical or sexual abuse. Painful relationships can often be the place that many of our symptoms or unhealthy behaviors stem from. It's my desire to walk alongside those who want to bring healing to this area of their life and experience a deeper sense of safety within themselves and within their relationships.

You’ve been holding everything in & keeping it together, but have hit your limit. You’d love to feel free, but instead feel stressed, frustrated, overwhelmed & lost. It’s hard to relax. There’s a fun & playful woman in there somewhere, but she’s stifled by overthinking, overshadowed by your To Do list, & weighed down by the needs & expectations of others. You provide support & encouragement to others, but not yourself. Despite your own successes, you question if you’re good enough, can handle it all, prepared, or doing things “right." You’d love to feel seen & heard, & need space, support & guidance to help you grow & transform.

We all need someone to talk to at different times in our lives, especially when it is difficult for our closest loved ones to give unbiased feedback. As a counselor, I join with individuals, couples and families to help them utilize their inner and collective strengths to face their difficulties. By building skills and strategies to address their struggles, people can transcend their past suffering, cope with present difficulties and move forward in life. I create space for connection and healing by offering a private, supportive, and safe place to allow people to bring forth their authentic selves.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.
Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.
How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.
How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
