WEEKEND appts (Friday, Sat, and Sunday), in my office, phone, or video. If you're busy through the week, I'm here for you on the WEEKEND. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, personal growth, life transitions, spiritual matters, and so forth. Life is really hard and you don't have to be strong and brave all the time, or to think you have to handle everything alone. Nothing is too small or unimportant for us to talk about because if it's bothering you it's important to me. Self-care (including therapy) isn't selfish. In this impersonal world, you might not think you matter, but I know you do.

Life is hard. I believe counseling starts when relationships, stresses or internal struggles become more than you can handle. If you're feeling overwhelmed, depressed, angry or not quite like yourself, I will offer you a non-judgmental space to begin to gain awareness of your wants/needs and support for your journey of change.

In our fast paced world, it is easy to feel disconnected, like nobody cares, understands or has the time to listen. As a trained counselor I am here for you, to listen and help you achieve your goals.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to name what you’re going through. Maybe trauma, ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, or relationship stress are showing up as irritability, shutdown, or people-pleasing. You want a space where you can be fully human, understand your emotions, and learn how to set boundaries without guilt.

I work with a variety of clients, ranging in age from 2 years old through late 20s and early 30s. My hope is that I can help individuals and families learn more effective ways to respond to challenges in their lives that may come from things such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, depression, anxiety, and adjusting to large changes. PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), in particular, is an approach that I specialize in. PCIT is focused on helping caregivers learn effective ways to address problematic behavior from their children who are between the ages of 2 and 7.

I am in-network for Aetna, Geisinger, United Healthcare, Optum, UPMC, Highmark, and Capital Blue.
I’m not your “just nod and validate everything” therapist.
I have a B.S. from Penn State and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Children, Adolescents, and Trauma) from Lock Haven—but more importantly, I meet you where you are, not where you “should” be. I use person-centered and parts work, but I’m flexible and tailor therapy to what actually works for you.
I love working with teens and young adults, but if you’ve got a brain and feelings, we’ll get along! I’m direct, I use humor, and I’ll call you out (with care). I’m here to help you grow—even when it’s uncomfortable.

As a professional, I am strongly committed to helping others process and work through the challenges that arise in life. I believe early intervention is crucial in promoting knowledge and understanding regarding the importance of caring for one's mental health. Having the opportunity to not only be an integral part of someone else's therapeutic journey, but to witness the positive impact and change that occurs first hand, is what I find to be most rewarding. I’ve developed a strong passion for building genuine connections, fostering creativity, and promoting individual self-expression within every client.
