I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Music Therapist focused on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment in which I collaborate with clients to pursue their goals. I draw from psychodynamic and humanistic theories to assist clients in becoming aware of ways in which past experiences may influence one’s connection with self and others today, while accessing and engaging with inherent areas of strength and health.

My passion is working with families, along with parents struggling with daily parenting and those with relationship issues. With a strong background in treating those with addictive behaviors, such as substance use , disordered eating, gaming, and relationship dependencies, I use an individualized, eclectic approach to treat everyone and their families individually, with care, compassion and understanding

I love being a therapist, and I have several beliefs about therapy that embody my therapeutic philosophy. First, I believe that the therapist-client relationship is sacred, and that only meaningful therapeutic work can occur through a strong alliance built on trust and free of shame and judgment. Secondly, I believe that therapy is a portal to healing wounds that loneliness and isolation worsen. Thirdly, I believe it is important to support and guide clients in living lives that are true to their own values and reflective of their authentic selves.

Elizabeth Ventre is a licensed professional counselor and board-certified music therapist, who believes in developing a therapeutic alliance by providing a safe space where clients feel comfortable exploring the thoughts, feelings, and issues that led them to seek out therapy. Through a supportive, encouraging, and dynamic therapeutic relationship, she endeavors to help individuals discover and strengthen inner resources as well as learn new tools to overcome challenges, achieve goals, and empower themselves with knowledge.

I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Immaculata University. I have worked in outpatient settings utilizing individual and group therapy, as well as couples and family therapy. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with interpersonal and self-esteem issues, substance use and co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to help you to achieve your goals, as trust, acceptance, humor and authenticity are central to my practice.

My career has been spent in treating persons experiencing eating and substance use disorders, PTSD, depression, anxiety, Career Difficulties, Agoraphobia, Anger Management, Divorce, OCD, Panic Attacks, Self Esteem, Social Anxiety, Grief, Social Anxiety, along with any other condition that has these ingredients present.

Courtney Snow, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, is an art psychotherapist with credentials as a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and families within behavioral health agencies, community outreach programs, educational settings, residential and outpatient programs. Courtney is experienced in treating individuals who have substance use disorders, developmental disorders, thought disorders, complex trauma, emotional disturbances, unresolved grief, and relationship issues.

My passion is working with young people and their families concerned about the impact of substance use in their lives. I started in the field working as a substance abuse counselor intern conducting group therapy and individual therapy in an IOP/PHP setting. I had the experience working with court mandated clients. I have also worked in an inpatient substance abuse setting where I also conducted groups, facilitated lectures on recovery topics and provided individual therapy and case management. Following this position, I found myself in outpatient mental where I gained the most clinical experience working with a diverse population and treating a variety of issues. I have worked with children as young as 10, adolescents and adults up to age 65.

Thank you for checking out my profile. I primarily work with adults and adolescents, but occasionally work with children. My focus is on addictions, mood disorders, or personality disorders. Because of the high rate of trauma with addictions and personality disorders, I offer trauma informed care and best practices to all of my clients. For over 10 years I have run an adolescent Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) group for adolescents and young adults who self harm or have self destructive behaviors. Finally, I offer crisis and health and wellness seminars to local businesses in need.

What sets me apart is that I will call you within 24 hours of getting a call from you.I suppose my ideal client would be the one that would feel the best fit with me. After the research that has been done, what matters most is the relationship (the fit) you have with your therapist, not their level of expertise, sense of humor, great coping skills, etc. However, I do best with individuals who are highly motivated to change. That does not mean that there will not be setbacks. However, it's how we view those setbacks. Are they failures or learning experiences? I prefer learning experiences. My goal is to get you to be your ideal self.
