I have extensive training & experience in helping individuals to improve relationships, resolve family-of-origin issues, work through loss, maintain recovery from
, overcome criminal justice issues, & assist a loved one with
or mental illness.
Therapy is a collaborative, supportive process. Individuals I see often wish to feel better, decrease stress, improve coping, improve relationships, work through transitions and/or difficult experiences, manage work/life balance, & feel better about themselves. Couples I see work to decrease conflict, improve communication, and gain a better understanding of each other. I also see families with adult children and provide family psychoeducation for mental illness. I am active in my profession and complete ongoing training to stay abreast of the best ways to assist people in achieving goals and improving their lives and relationships.
