As a professional counselor licensed in 2010 and in private practice since 2015, I enjoy working with clients seeking a healthy balance in their lives. Working as a team, I find that the clients benefit most from collaboration to restore areas in their lives that are disjointed. My approach is practical, down-to-earth, and very nurturing. I provide services to adolescents and adults in individual, groups, couples, or family settings. I also offer anger management, grief counseling, and specialize in mindfulness techniques. My professional experience has also afforded me the opportunity to reunite families through the Department of Family Protective Services.
I began my therapy experience volunteering as an individual counselor and group facilitator for The Womens Home in Houston, providing spiritual counseling, substance abuse education, and teaching healthy living skills. My professional experience has ranged from providing diagnosis and treatment with the Brazoria County Juvenile Justice Department, working with adolescents and their families.
