Providing a space of safety and acceptance to explore life issues, we work together to begin the process of change. Beginning with a solution-focused approach, we begin with your strengths. A key to this is learning to effectively use tools (coping skills) along with being able to see and understand situations differently. We work together to improve the health of your relationships, the most important one being with yourself, and then other relationships in your life. Problems with alcohol or other drugs can be addressed if that's something you want to work on.
I really enjoy working along side parents/caregivers to address emotional and behavioral issues in school-age children. A common issue with children is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and we can provide an evaluation to determine whether it is this or another factor that is causing the problems.
A special interest is working with people suffering from Anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Acudetox - Auricular Acupuncture
Acudetox, (auricular acupuncture), is a very effective method to support individuals as they work toward sobriety. Research shows that painful emotions create cravings for substances, whether it's use, abuse, or dependence as a way to avoid emotions. Acudetox, as an adjunct therapy along with other treatment approaches, helps provide an emotional calm and sense of centered well-being, helping individuals in the journey toward healthy living.
