My aim in therapy is to provide a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and especially people who are struggling with trauma and addiction. I am trained in trauma-informed care and have experience working with those recovering from PTSD, complex trauma, and substance use. We can process your experiences, and collaborate on tailored goals for post-traumatic growth and recovery. We can do this by processing traumatic incidents, exploring triggers, examining underlying thoughts, and building coping skills.
I am also interested in working with children and adolescents with problematic behaviors and learning disorders, as well as individuals struggling with adoption, grief, and life transitions, and young adults in college. I am welcoming towards LGBTQIA+ population, other diverse sexualities, and HIV+ allied, and I am culturally competent.
