Hello and welcome!
I treat children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I enjoy working with people from broad
backgrounds and life experiences. I graduated from New York University (NYU) with my Masters
of Social Work (MSW).
With adults, I first and foremost want to understand your story, your core beliefs, your past
experiences with therapy, current and past symptoms, and your overall life story. I use
approaches such as psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, narrative therapy, and
cognitive processing therapy, expressive arts therapy, and help build mindfulness and other coping skills.
I am highly trained in trauma-informed care and treating symptoms of PTSD. I gained my
trauma-informed care by working for suicide hotlines and a public defense office, and by
working with survivors of abuse. I focus on post-traumatic growth and seeing yourself as a
whole person.
I start off therapy by doing an intake and then we come up with a treatment plan together. I want to hear you and be with you on your therapeutic journey.
