I enjoy working with clients who want to get to the root of their struggles. These clients would like to gain insight into their symptoms, something difficult that has happened to them or to explore cycles and patterns that aren’t serving them. The clients I see often have attended therapy in the past. The clients I see also often present with attachment-based traumas, symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and difficulties in their personal and work relationships.

Life can be very stressful, and different things may bring someone to therapy. I provide a safe place to explore and learn, as I offer my compassion and support through your journey. I have a lot of experience with stress and/or trauma, as well as relationship issues. I tend to be gentle, compassionate, offer solutions and homework assignments, but realize deep down you have the answers, and are hard wired to heal under the right circumstances. I see primarily individuals and couples due to my schedule being strictly daytime (business hours)

I work best with individuals and couples who wish to address and explore issues related to emotion regulation, conflict and distress, personality difficulties and communication. In my practice, I have seen depressed and bipolar adults and people with personality issues or disorders for over 15 years.

I believe therapy is the process of getting to know and like yourself better. By looking inward, we discover how we support or undermine ourselves with thoughts, feelings, habitual body patterns and behaviors born out of pain and trauma. We start to distinguish our authentic self from who we think we need to be. When we have more information about ourself and more freedom to be authentic, we can then begin to make changes to better support ourself and create a life that is fulfilling.

I am a Psychotherapist, Nutrition Therapist & Exercise Physiologist. While my therapy style is inquisitive and non-judgmental, I am also direct and honest, challenging my clients to make significant, lasting, meaningful change in their lives.
