My ideal client struggles with Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Trauma, and/or related conditions. They are motivated for change or at least open to the possibility of change. They are open to feedback and willing to lean into the therapeutic process. They do not need to have clear goals for the therapeutic process right away but are willing to work to identify these goals in the treatment process. They would want to improve their life in some way, or even just their relationship with themselves.

I enjoy working with clients who want to get to the root of their struggles. The clients I see often have attended therapy in the past. The clients I see also often present with attachment-based traumas, symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and difficulties in their personal and work relationships.

Treating OCD, anxiety and trauma can be counter-intuitive, the difficulties of ADHD don't get enough respect, and rarely are we taught how to tolerate or regulate our emotions.

As a counselor, I have always been aware of the courage and openness a client needs to be able to seek support and engage in counseling services. I also understand how difficult it is to make therapeutic changes in one's life. I am humbled to be privileged to learn about a client's intimate struggles, and I take the depth of that relationship of respect, privacy, boundaries, and expectations very seriously. My ideal client is anyone open to counseling, receiving feedback, and willing to work together on developing action steps towards change and personal growth.

I focus on trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment difficulties, & relationship/family issues. My ideal client would be open to change and exploring more positive ways to see themselves. My ideal client would be someone that values our time together and is present for sessions. My ideal client would be someone who can reflect from within and be willing to do the work, with a sincere desire to change their lifestyle. This client would be flexible and willing to see the other side of the coin, exploring the past and delving into the present.

I specifically enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety/phobias, self-esteem/body image/disordered eating concerns, and stress. I would also love to work with clients experiencing sexual concerns. My ideal client is someone who comes to me with an open mind about treatment, is willing to challenge themselves, and works with me as a team to set and achieve their goals. Ideal clients will be open and honest with me, as they understand our sessions are a safe and judgment-free space. They will have patience with themselves as we explore their concerns while also being willing to make changes for their benefit.
