My goal is to provide a warm, empathetic and safe environment conducive to sharing difficult issues that may be holding you back from living your most satisfied and fulfilled life. Finding a therapist that is relatable is such an important treatment consideration. I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years helping adolescents and adults presenting symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, Bipolar disorder, self-esteem issues, and difficult life transitions. Therapy is a collaborative process and we will work together to create achievable goals that build upon one another so that you can have the best quality of life.
I also have experience working with clients who suffer from disordered eating, body image issues, compulsive exercise and other food related problems. My passion is to help my clients live a life free of food fears, obsession and body discontent so that they can discover what it is to live a life of true satisfaction.
While I am psychodynamically trained, I feel that each client is unique and it may be necessary to utilize components of other treatment modalities to create the optimal treatment approach. Positive changes can be difficult, but having the right therapist can make all the difference and I look forward to providing that service.
