As part of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, my service includes evaluation of multiple cognitive domains including memory, problem solving/reasoning, visual-spatial processing, language, basic motor skills, emotional status, and assessment of attention and academic functioning (ADHD, LD), as indicated. Findings from the neuropsychological evaluation are used to generate recommendations to assist in treatment planning across a variety of settings as well as suggesting compensatory strategies for any identified cognitive weaknesses and identifying resources for families. I offer timely and thorough evaluations, conduct individualized feedback with families, and provide a summary of the findings and recommendations.

My ideal client is an individual interested in a professional that can assist them in being better, having healthy relationships, and developing skills that can enhance their life and those they encounter. Dr. Kaufman is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and director of Gateway Neuropsychology, LLC. Dr. Kaufman provides evidence-based evaluation services for children, adolescents, and adults, including comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, ADHD testing, and forensic assessment. He also offers individual and family psychotherapy, specialized behavioral therapy for ADHD, and organization/executive skills training. Dr. Kaufman enjoys teaching and speaking engagements, and is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Saint Louis University, where he is active in teaching, clinical training, and research.
