In our hurried lives, we sometimes find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from loved ones, or "stuck" and unsure about where we are headed. As a counselor, I strive to provide a safe, supportive environment promoting awareness, cultivating strengths, and encouraging lasting change. My style draws upon an experience range including grief/hospice care, family/couple systems, group and individual treatment for clients with severe psychiatric diagnoses, and addiction.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples to improve relationships/communication, navigate transitions, manage depression/anxiety/emotions, and change unhealthy patterns. In response to trauma, loss, or stressors, some people have developed addictions. I am licensed and experienced in supporting clients struggling with both mental health and addiction issues.
