I help teens and women in their 20s and 30s who are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, life transitions and adjustments, complex trauma history, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and mood disorders. My approach is warm, supportive and insightful. I meet clients where they are, move at their pace and provide a safe space to explore struggles, discover strengths and guide in self-discovery and personal growth.

I have immediate openings for new clients. I specialize in individual therapy for depression, anxiety, stress related to family and relationships dynamics, eating disorders, and trauma-related stressors. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, career development, and body image. I enjoy working with creatives and adults in life transitions. I take a relational, trauma-informed approach, and I use my dance and movement background to integrate embodied paths to healing. Your journey may shift as you go, and I will honor all of the recalibrations that make you exactly who you are today: a nuanced, complex, unique individual who is worth knowing.

I am a Master's Level Counselor at Move Therapy and Wellness. As a mental health counselor, I am dedicated to providing a safe space for clients to be vulnerable and work through difficult emotions. I work with adults of all ages and have experience working in a variety of mental health settings including residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient.

Emily and Colleen are passionate clinical professionals who have worked across all levels of behavioral healthcare in both clinical and senior leadership roles over a combined three decades. I am dedicated to creating a space where all clients feel safe, supported, heard and validated. I partner with clients to become curious about the patterns that may be appearing in their lives, discover and implement new coping strategies, and move forward with greater intention.

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and behavioral problems in adolescents and adults (ages 12 and up). In my work with adolescents, therapy often focuses on dealing with stress related to academic demands, difficulties in peer and romantic relationships, family conflict, low self-esteem, as well as individuals struggling with self-identity. I also work with young adults who feel overwhelmed during the transition to college or entering the work force for the first time.

Erik Shookman is a Licensed Social Worker who has experience working with adults and adolescents from all walks of life. He specializes in addressing issues related to depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, relationships, grief and loss, trauma and addiction. Erik strongly believes that the foundation of any successful treatment is built upon the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist. He takes a holistic approach to therapy and takes great pride in the working relationships that he cultivates with his clients. He strives to make his clients feel safe, seen, and understood.

I am a firm believer that you can heal what has stopped you, create new beginnings, and let go of what no longer serves you. I take a direct, yet sensitive therapeutic approach and offer a wide variety of tools that you can implement into your life. My clients have told me that I bring humor and clarity to what feels heavy, angry, anxious, and overwhelming. I love what I do and feel honored to partner with people as they create more fulfilling lives.

I believe that everyone is capable, whole, unique, and deserving of finding meaning in their own lives. Because of this, I tailor my practice to fit each individual's specific needs. I have particular experience working with adolescents and young adults in treating self-esteem issues and eating disorders, navigating grief and changes in life, and preparing for the future. I also enjoy working with couples that are focused on building or rebuilding the foundation of their relationship, reducing conflict, and increasing their strengths as a couple.

I am a staff therapist and yoga teacher with experience working in a variety of levels of mental health treatment including outpatient, inpatient hospitalization, residential treatment, and partial hospitalization. I strive to guide, support, and empower my clients to recognize their own, unique strengths and resilience.
