I practice psychotherapy with enthusiasm, genuineness, and a practical approach to life's problems. I have been in private practice for over 20 years. I attempt to provide a safe and comfortable place for my patients to discuss and work through the stressors involved in daily life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a very important one, and I work to develop mutual trust.
I utilize several short term techniques to help alleviate distressing symptoms as quickly as possible. It is important for people to learn to use a variety of coping skills when facing life stress. Once symptoms have dissipated, I work to explore the patterns and possible origins of the problems.
I enjoy working with clients providing individual and couples therapy. My areas of interest include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and women's issues. I have my own private office which provides a quiet, confidential environment for my clients. I handle all of my own phone calls and emails directly.
