My approach as a therapist is to provide a nonjudgmental and client-centered environment. I believe you can obtain emotional healing from life's struggles whether from childhood and adult traumas or present circumstances. My goal is to empower you to work through your struggles, resolve traumas and discover what works for you. I have been providing mental health services for 10+ years to children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. This includes, behavioral health, schools and now private practice.

My desire is to work with you in developing the skills and tools necessary to navigate through the struggles you may face on the job, parenting children with or without disabilities, relationships, daily stressors, and helping children to learn the skills needed so they can thrive and develop at their highest potential. It first starts with self-growth, development, and to apply the life skills that are right for you. I am here to guide, council, coach, instruct, and provide assessment in the areas needed to assist in providing you with as much information and support needed to live a more peaceful life with better relationships.

Are you losing hope due to emotional stress, anxiety, past trauma and abuse, or as a result of difficult relationships? I believe hope is what drives emotions, relationships, job satisfaction, and life fulfillment. Therefore, my practice is based on hope. I always keep hope before me, and I will help you find your own hope as we work through your struggles and emotions, in person and through telehealth.

I am currently providing psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish in person and via Telehealth in California. As a strength-based clinician, I have had the opportunity and privilege to assist people in the process of bringing stability and healing to their lives, by helping them to find and recognize their own inner strengths and applying them to their daily lives.

It is my goal to establish an environment of trust, safety, and authenticity with you, In an effort to share the unique experience of the therapeutic relationship. I work with individuals, couples and families through a range of evidence based modalities. My approach is to work collaboratively with you to develop an ideal treatment plan to work on your identified needs. I practice through a strength based perspective and I am EMDR trained to work with clients who may have experienced life trauma.

I take an integrative approach which tailors’ psychotherapy with clients’ needs. I draw from my experience; take a client-centered approach; use evidence-based practices which is grounded in research to foster change; use a systemic approach which explores families and those who are engaged in the relationship to foster healing and personal goal setting. I also specialize in psychological evaluations for immigration cases. If you have a need for evaluations, I’d welcome hearing from you. With my approach I tailor the assessment to the particular needs of each case.

Anxiety, depression, illness, feeling stuck, worry, fear, and other symptoms are the soul's attempt to point us in the right direction towards feeling fully alive. I am passionate about helping people heal from their past experiences or repetitive patterns which no longer serve a purpose and distance them from their authentic selves. I help people who are healing from Lyme and /or coinfections, mold, or environmental toxins.
