The clinicians at Affirming Psychological Services are highly experienced in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. All of our clinicians are also trained in treating the needs of the LGBT+ community, and many of our clinicians have lived experience as part of this community. We are conveniently located in Irvine, CA, and can provide both in person and telehealth services for you and your loved ones. We provide individual, couples, and family therapy as well as psychological testing and diagnostic clarification services. We provide a safe, comforting environment and expert therapists to help you meet your therapeutic goals.

Living with the aftermath of trauma can make daily life exhausting and overwhelming. Unpleasant symptoms can impact every area of your life, from taking care of seemingly small tasks to forming close relationships. If you are feeling stuck in the past, there is hope. I help adults and teens who have experienced trauma find ease and joy again. I have a particular passion for working with survivors of sexual trauma, however I work with all types of emotional wounds.

As a Mindfulness trauma-informed therapist, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling to find relief from many of life’s challenges. Relational difficulties, family problems, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and life transitions can all be more difficult than we imagine. I encourage collaboration in a safe, nonjudgmental space to gently explore these struggles, and build solutions that grow confidence. I believe in the healing potential of the brain, which is why I draw from a variety of practices to achieve real change.

There are a lot of joys that can be found in today's world, but sometimes those joys are clouded by the troubles that arise throughout our lives. These troubles have a way of remaining with us, and much of this collected "baggage" can suffocate our joy beneath a mountain of struggle, regret, and hardship. As a therapist, I try to be the kind of person that helps others reconnect to the joy in their life and find true happiness once more. My objective is to assist my clients get back in sync, and not feel stuck in the clouds.
