I use a strength-based approach to help clients get from where they are to where they want to be in life. I am skilled in working with adolescents and adults, but do not do couples therapy. I provide counseling for those experiencing difficulties with Anxiety, OCD, Depression and those coping with Grief, Loss and Trauma. I use a variety of techniques including EMDR, CBT, and somatic exercises to individualize therapy for each clients needs. I provide a non-judgemental environment where clients can feel safe and secure when working towards healing.

Every individual has their needs and wants in life. I work with individuals, couples, or families to achieve goals to maintain a more meaningful lifestyle. My strength is an honest approach so that people know that I am being genuine with them and that I amwith them in the moment. I help people to find out what gets in the way of them being effective in everyday life and help them look to a healthier future. I have worked with kids and their families for over 25 years. My favorite children and teens are strong willed, capable, and smart (academic and/or common sense). I see kids ranging from 3 year old to college students. Some of the most common issues that I work with are ADD/ADHD, Oppositional/Defiant, Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar Disorders. Other general issues are poor social skills, difficulty with frustration, poor communication skills and parent-child conflict. Because so many of the families that I see are struggling with how get along easily, I prefer to include parents whenever possible.
