This approach is non-judgmental, warm and based in the belief that each person has resilience and strength. I was educated and worked for many years in NYC where I gained extensive experience providing therapy to a wide variety of individuals, especially women, young adults, and individuals who identify as LGBTQ + . I also have extensive experience with counseling patients around issues of depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties.

I am an Advanced EMDRIA trained, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) provider. I'm a licensed professional counselor originally from Dublin, Ireland. Two key components of my practice are the teachings of Pia Mellody and laughter. I believe therapy is a collaborative process whereby together we can find what issues are hindering you from being the best version of you and develop a skill set to help you overcome these blocks. I practice therapy through a trauma focused lens using the model of codependence, EMDR, SE & polyvagal theory. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and completed my undergraduate work at Arizona State University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Family Resources and Human Development and a minor in Psychology. I then moved to Washington, where I practiced social work with at-risk preschoolers, teens and families for approximately three years prior to pursuing my Master's degree. I obtained my Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University with a specialization in Child Welfare and have been serving children and families since 1999. I am currently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Arizona.

I am a neurodivergent-affirming trauma therapy specialist who works with people who are ready to dive deep into their lives to understand their story and choose what they do next. I specialize in trauma-sensitive depth work with those who are autistic, gender nonconforming or trans, poly and non-monogamous, and counter cultural. To support those transitioning, I do offer reduced cost gender confirmation letters in a trans-affirming informed consent approach. I do not require ongoing therapy for those wanting only the letter.
