James Davis, CMHC has a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Human development. As a therapist, I recognize that every journey is unique and important. I have learned that everyone has a story that deserves to be told. Currently I work with people from all walks of life helping them own their story, recover from past trauma and move toward a bright future. I provide tools necessary to cope with what life brings, recover from their past stories, and create a new future where they are able to thrive. I previously worked as a trained advocate in domestic violence and sexual assault. While in graduate school, I worked with vulnerable youth in a high school setting and find joy in working with adolescents.

Through my own struggle in the human experience and the process of gaining a deeper understanding of myself, I came to the world of mental health and therapy. I love helping others through their own path to a richer, happier, healthier, life. One of my greatest joys is to offer hope and a safe space to heal.
