Making mental health care available where and how people need it - be it farm, private office, telehealth(confidential video chat), The Compassion Project provides psychotherapy for adults and children looking for help and hope. It is our mission to work with others as they travel their own path at their own pace - to healing, growth and restoration. Trauma-informed approaches are a primary focus. Brainspotting, TFCBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), IFS (internal family systems) therapy are some of the available modalities.
Treatment approaches are tailored to client needs and preferences, and may include animal-assisted or nature based interventions if desired. Office appointments are held at a private farm, either outdoors or in office onsite. Community based settings may be at a client's home, nursing facility, or other appropriate location.
The Compassion Project is in network with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, BrightHealth, Magellan, Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance(Medcost), Wellcare and Tricare plans. Medicare is also accepted. Most other plans with out of network benefits can also be used. United HealthCare Medicaid Community Plans are accepted as well.
