"Are you worried about your child? Do they seem worried or stressed at all times, preoccupied with a million different things? Do they seem anxious, sad, or even angry about how everything is just too much? Perhaps your child is overwhelmed by anxiety, panicking at school or at the prospect of too much homework, or overly concerned about what other people think of them? They might worry about their thoughts or feelings, and think that something is very wrong with them. Or your child may be stuck in bad habits: repeating behaviors over and over again, because it makes them feel better and gets rid of horrible feelings of anxiety."

"There are times in our lives when we decide that a change is needed. This can occur due to thoughtful consideration, when situations beyond our control force us to accommodate to new life circumstances, or when relationships are not as satisfying as we would like them to be. These are times when it can be helpful to develop a collaborative relationship with a therapist who can guide us in making the changes that will bring happiness and fulfillment to our lives. I believe that positive and desired changes occur in the context of this type of relationship."

You may be experiencing a fast beating heart, sweaty palms, shortness of breath, racing thoughts, and/or sleep problems. When you feel emotionally exhausted, it can be hard to know what to do to alleviate those feelings. Whatever the cause or symptoms, there are ways to manage what you are going through. "The key to successful psychotherapy is the trusting relationship which the therapist and client establish. Throughout my career, I have worked hard to welcome, listen and understand in an informal and collaborative manner. My approach with all of my clients, regardless of their age, is to focus on their strengths and to be flexible. I believe that maintaining regular communication with other care givers and family members, (where appropriate,) is key to making progress. My many years of working in the same community allows me to have a vast knowledge of local services, including other professionals."

"You made it home. Everybody is glad you're back but you're miserable - and guilty - because you'd rather be there than here. You have relationship, porn and alcohol problems and miss the structure that got you through every day. Most of all, you miss your friends. They're the only ones who really get it: Going into an insurgents house, you know there's a change in plan just by reading your Sergeant's eyes. Going into your house, your partner can talk for hours and you still don't know what they want! No wonder you watch the war channel all night."

Out of Network Therapists
An out-of-network Therapist in 22030 has not agreed to any set rate with your insurer. Your plan may require higher co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance for out-of-network care and you may need to pay the difference between your insurer's allowed amount and what the Therapist charges.

The costs for a 22030 out-of-network Therapist also depend on your type of plan:

In a Health Maintenance Organization, or HMO, or Exclusive Provider Network, or EPO, you generally have to pay the full cost of any out-of-network care.

In a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or Point-of-Service (POS) plan, you will usually have to pay a higher deductible and or a higher co-pay plus a higher percentage co-insurance plus, the difference between the allowed amount and your provider's actual rate.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in 22030 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counselor in 22030 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counseling or couples counseling in 22030 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counseling in 22030 or family therapy in 22030.
