Greetings, welcome to my profile! I earned my Masters in Rehabilitation and Counseling from Kent State University, Ohio. For over three decades, I have dedicated my life to the treatment and empowerment of individuals struggling from addictions and other disabling conditions. My aim is to advocate, counsel and empower each individual to overcome and become their better selves. As a holistic counselor, my goal is always to encourage and inspire each client. Using evidence based counseling to ignite a client's inner potential to achieve their own dreams and goals.
I remember a quote by the legendary Bruce Lee: “Using no way as way; having no limitation as limitation.” I use various styles, not limiting sessions to only one style. Cognitive-Behavioral, 12 step facilitation, and Logotherapy of Functional Analytic Counseling are all used in conjunction to address obstacles moving each client to creative solutions.
