My ideal client is an individual who feels as if their world is beginning to unravel emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically. Often such feelings are precipitated by acute, post traumatic or situational stress. Personal relationships often begin to show signs of strain and bouts of depression and anxiety are constant companions. For me the process of psychotherapy is based in a relationship where my clients are afforded an opportunity to open up inner hurts and past trauma in a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment. My office setting is relaxing and reflects my deep commitment to my clients well being.
I have had extensive experience and post graduate training in the process of individual and group psychotherapy. I specialize in cultivating a therapeutic relationship, with an humanistic client centered approach in assisting individuals in mobilizing their inner strength to work through irrational fears, anxiety, depression and dysfunctional behavior and relationships.

Groups
Concurrent Individual & Group Psychotherapy
The group therapy practice model can include concurrent individual and group psychotherapy. When ready individual patients are invited to participate in a weekly 90 minute group therapy session with an established group of 6-8 patients. This concurrent model group psychotherapy gives each patient a unique opportunity to express their own issues in a group setting designed to support and offer empathy amongst group members in a safe, warm and highly confidential setting. The combination of individual and group therapy has proven to open up long held fears of personal engagement and often expedites the healing process.
