I am a firm believer that ANYBODY can benefit from therapy no matter one's age, gender or race. I have experience working in a multitude of settings such as school based counseling, Methadone clinic, community agency work, and private practice. I have experience working with individuals (children, teenagers and adults), families, and couples. I have experience serving diverse populations with a wide range of mental health concern.
I believe in a person centered counseling approach where my clients are able to feel a sense of respect and autonomy. In addition, I utilize motivational interviewing skills, solution focused therapy, reality therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Your goals are what are important to me and will be the foundation of our therapeutic journey together.
