My professional life has been consistently focused on serving people in need. After obtaining my bachelors degree from Michigan State University, I initially worked in the Governor's office in Lansing. I then decided to exercise my entrepreneurial spirit and transitioned into helping guide economically challenged families to find better housing solutions by developing low cost single family homes and developing large tracts of vacant and abandoned land. This work of helping families led me to desire doing work even more impactful, which led to my returning to school and obtaining my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology.

Supervising since 2005, and a previous Director of Training with over 20 years of experience, I consider it a privilege to offer meaningful work for children, adolescents, adults, couples, parents, and families. Through a genuine caregiving, positive lens I provide support to others. Through the relationship-oriented, Inner Humanism approach, I offer an understanding of development across the lifespan. The care individuals receive is characterized by achieving an inner well-being and happiness that remains stable and conflict free regardless of life obstacles, family changes, and daily ups and downs.

I am a license clinical social worker/therapist providing psychotherapy for a broad range of psychological, emotional, and systemic issues of children, adolescents, and adults. I have over 3o years of experience providing mental and emotional support services to children, adolescents, and adults in psychiatric hospitals, juvenile facilities, community base facilities, schools, clinics and private practice. Parenting Coach- Parenting is one of the most difficult and rewarding jobs you will ever have! But when you are trying to parent a child with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, Autism or a child with no diagnosis that is particularly challenging it is exhausting! I know, because I raised two tough kids as a single parent and have taught hundreds of families in the past 35 years how to solve behavioral issues and teach new ways of interacting with one another. When you have tools to help you, your home becomes more peaceful and your relationship with your child improves in a very short amount of time.

As a previous nurse assistant, teacher (toddler-12th grade) and childcare director, I have spent over a decade immersed in hands-on research to better study effective evidence based approaches for treating children and their support systems. I use these approaches eclectically to help clients and their families with sensory regulation, behavioral issues, and counsel the client's entire support system to bring balance.

I have found there is no greater satisfaction than helping others seek peace and achieve sobriety. As a licensed therapist I also have extensive experience in working with adults and adolescents facing the challenges of coping with anxiety, depression, addiction and behavioral issues.
