I love working with individual adults, teens and parents regarding a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, shame, anger, addictive behaviors, and difficult relationship patterns. Often without realizing it, we spend so much of our energy avoiding and managing our pain, that we have little left over to pursue the lives we want and the people we want to become. I enjoy exploring how people's stories impact who they are, and what is keeping them from greater wholeness.
I draw primarily from attachment theory in order to help clients identify issues and move out of “stuckness” into new understanding, healing, and growth. I utilize Emotion-Focused Therapy and aspects of IFS. My past experience includes private practice therapy with adults and adolescents, as well as group therapy and assessments in hospitals and non-profits.
