Ordered Steps To Recovery, LLC's Groups
Intensive(IOP)/Supportive(SOP) Outp. Treatment
Clients attending IOP/SOP will attend group session 3 times per week for 12 weeks with 1 weekly individual session consisting of a hour in a virtual online setting. Clients will participate in group sessions and learn about the disease concept of addiction, learn to identify triggers and develop coping skills to help avoid relapse and negative consequences.
Anger Management
The Anger Management Program is a 12- week program designed to help individuals identify the reason for their feelings and explore the roots of their anger which may be buried in emotional trauma, addiction, grief, or other issues. It is also designed for individuals to identify their anger and violence issues and recognize how anger can become an addiction. The goal of anger management is to teach people how to examine their triggers to reduce and control anger outburst, to reduce stress and to avoid negative consequences.
Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program-Men
Ordered Steps to Recovery's Batterers Intervention and Prevention meets the Texas State Guidelines of BIPP Programs and is in the approval process by the Texas Council on Family Violence. Our (24 week) BIPP Program is designed to help batterers understand their actions and how they alone can control their behavior and bring social change necessary to end battering and increase victim safety so that they can live life free from violence. We cover a variety of topics including honesty, accountability, non-threatening behavior, negotiation and fairness, partnership, sexual respect and many others. BIPP is not anger management. We are seeking accreditation.
