Trauma Focused Therapists in West Linn, OR
Being part of the interconnected natural world, we thrive in connection, and without connection, we wither. In our work together we will collaborate in understanding what makes you come alive and wither, to look for ways to get unstuck and make meaning of your emotions and suffering in rewriting your story. I believe that individuals/families can tap into their inner strength to repair and grow new resilience with guidance and support. My role is to restore balance, build communication, and provide support to help you create space to learn and integrate new skills and encourage new perspectives as you grow and thrive in connections.

Many of the women I work with are the ones everyone relies on. After losing a spouse, parent, or caregiving role, they’re still showing up for work and family—but inside feel untethered, exhausted, and quietly unraveling. Often highly sensitive and deeply caring, they’re not used to being the one who needs support. They want space to grieve honestly, without pressure to “move on,” and help finding steadiness and meaning in a life that feels forever changed.

As a family therapist, I believe that each family, couple and individual has the ability to heal using their own internal strengths. My focus is on restoring balance and building communication within families as they are integral in increasing the overall well-being of individuals, couples and families. I identify symptoms such as marital discord, addiction, behavioral issues among children and adolescents, mental and medical health issues as becoming an unhelpful part of the family system. My approach to reduce the impact of these symptoms and break harmful patterns is collaborative, encouraging members to be open and honest throughout the progression of therapy.

I specialize in disordered eating, body-focused concerns, anxiety disorders, complex trauma, and identity exploration (i.e. gender, sexuality, etc). I work from a trauma-informed lens, with a holistic and person-centered approach. I aim to create an affirming space that encourages personal reflection, growth, and self-empowerment through curiosity and compassion. I strongly believe that the mind and body work symbiotically, and that when we become more attuned to our bodies, there is much potential for new insight and a deeper connection to our innate Self.

You might be navigating anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, women's issues, or burnout— doing your best to cope but still feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you identify as neurodivergent and want to understand yourself better. You may have unhelpful thoughts, emotional reactions, or behaviors that feel hard to change. Or perhaps you find yourself stuck in patterns of behaviors or emotions that keep repeating no matter how many times you try to change. My work focuses on helping you explore these patterns, develop insight into how they affect your daily life, and learn tools to create meaningful change.
