Let's focus on the Being of you vs the Doing of you . Have you tried mainstream mental health and it hasn't worked? Has talk therapy not assisted you in discovering what is at the root of any dis-ease you are experiencing? We will work together to assist you at getting better at feeling. We will address any deep rooted traumatic feeling states with EMDR to instantly assist in integrating them so you can interact with your day to day with more clarity. We will also use parts work (internal family systems) to find what parts of you are needing attention.

A wonderful image of where good therapy can lead is of a knitter transforming a pile of chaotic threads and snarled knots into something beautiful, intentional, and nurturing. The internal elements that create your experience of life can truly learn new stories to live in and be safely released from stories of fear, shame, and contraction. As your therapist, I will help you hold your commitment and courage by guiding your relationship with yourself at a pace that is sustainable yet brave, using tools that will help you lovingly meet and free your lifeforce from old survival strategies and step into a much more creative existence.

You may find yourself caught in tiring patterns with food or feeling uneasy in your body, carrying layers of shame, self-doubt, or expectations that no longer fit. Perhaps you’re navigating a significant life transition—such as perimenopause, pregnancy, or the postpartum period—and noticing shifts in your body, mood, or sense of who you are. Therapy can be a space to slow down and make sense of these experiences. Over time, it may become possible to relate to your body with greater compassion, rebuild trust in yourself, and move through daily life with more steadiness, ease, and self-acceptance.

Are you feeling a sense of dissatisfaction with the way things are in your life right now? Being overwhelmed, discouraged and dissatisfied are often indicators that you have stepped out of alignment with your inner wisdom. That wise part of yourself is calling for your attention. I work with adults and older adolescents from a non-pathologizing perspective, meaning I don’t place much emphasis on diagnoses.

Finding a deeper connection to self, others, and life events is part of the work we will do together. Coming into an awareness of your own thoughts and developing compassionate understanding of yourself fosters a loving kindness practice that can go with you into any situation. It also will help you create ease in your body and mind that begins to put a pause on past or future thinking. And as we begin to learn how to drop into the present moment with what is we begin to bring the wonderment of life back into our realty.

On paper, everything looks good. You have a good job, you’re in a relationship and you live somewhere great. You did all the things you were told would make you happy and for some reason, you are feeling off, disconnected or empty. You may be asking yourself, “what’s the point” or “is this all there is?” You are wanting more, but aren’t entirely sure what that is. You may be drinking, relying on substances or food to deal with these feelings. You’re wanting to make a change and it’s the time do it. This has probably been the case for some time. Well, nothing changes if nothing changes.

I work with adults in their mid-thirties and beyond who are seeking therapy to reclaim themselves from limiting beliefs, inherited narratives, and long-standing emotional patterns shaped by attachment, family systems, and societal conditioning. My practice is especially well-suited for people experiencing a chronic or existential sense of incoherence. Clients often seek my support during seasons of reflection, transition, or awakening — when they are ready to face past wounds, seeking to understand how they have shaped their lives and relationships, and ready to confront, integrate, and reclaim a more whole version of themselves.

Hello You! Welcome to this brief introduction about me and the modality I use. My hope in working with you, is to help you liberate extreme emotions, restore trust in yourself to live in balance, harmony, and wholeness. So many of us are living in overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts; it is time to become emotionally whole and connected to others. This is an inside job, and it is worth it to be reflective, to see why you do the things you do and feel the emotions you do. The work is hard and ultimately worth, you are worthy of this journey to a fuller connection to your true self and those you love.

How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilize the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
