Finding the right therapist can be challenging. If you're looking for a psychologist to help you work towards being the best version of yourself, I may be a great fit for you. My approach is guided by a recognition of parallel truths: there are always underlying reasons for the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors we struggle with, and this does not make our struggles inevitable or unworkable. In our work together, I will seek to understand and validate the challenges you are confronted with, while helping you take control of your life back from those very challenges.

My approach is relational and unique to each client. I work with elders, adults, teens, pre-teens, couples, families, and with the developmental tasks of each life stage. I often assist clients wanting greater self confidence, vitality, authenticity, satisfaction and meaning in daily life. I create a safe environment in which more fulfilling approaches to relationship can be experienced. I explore with clients ways to move beyond negative impacts of past loss or trauma, and places that feel "stuck." I bring methods to address each client's goals, and to help decrease limitations associated with anxious or depressive symptoms.

Growing up today is tough! In addition to balancing homework, extracurriculars, friends, and family, kids also have to deal with increasing mental health stress. Our society feels less and less like a village, leading to more strain on caregivers as they try to parent in today’s climate. As your therapist, I staunchly advocate for children and families using a multi-systems approach by coordinating care with school counselors, doctors, etc to support clients holistically. Our sessions are a safe space for clients to vent, process, and work through life's obstacles.

My practice is grounded in respect, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand each person’s story. I work to create a space that feels steady and safe, where you can begin to explore your experiences and the ways they’ve shaped you and your relationships. Together, we’ll build a deeper understanding of you, what you need, what you long for, and how to care for yourself more gently. Over time, many people find they’re able to see themselves with more warmth and understanding, which often helps them connect more openly and meaningfully with others while also cultivating a greater sense of calm and self-acceptance.

Are you tired of being tired? Have you ever wonder if there is more to life than just survival? Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, stress or relationship problems and not sure how therapy can help? You are not alone. I see individuals who are experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety, body image issues, relational distress, spiritual issues, grief/loss, and eating disorders. Many of my clients are trying to cope with the effects of trauma in their life in addition to feelings of insecurity, perfectionism, self-hatred or shame. If any of this sounds like you, I want you to know that you are not alone and counseling can help. It takes great courage to seek counseling, and I can help you develop insight into yourself, learn new tools for coping, find your voice, and seek healing from your past.

What we are looking for in life is often right in front of us yet, we often lack the ability to see it. In contemporary society, many of us are head strong putting the mind and thoughts above the body and feelings. In this manner, we may lose ourselves in a world of mental illusion. When we are able to access our inner nature, comprised in part of our instincts, aptitudes, and intuition, we are more equipped to be self-guided in life and able to achieve balance and wholeness for ourselves.

You are successful by every external measure - and exhausted by an internal one no one else can see. The decisions you carry don't come with simple answers. They involve your business, your relationships, your sense of who you are and who you're becoming. You've tried thinking your way through. You've tried pushing harder. The weight hasn't lifted. I work with founders, executives, and high-responsibility professionals in California and Oregon who need more than traditional talk therapy. My clients are people who think deeply, carry heavily, and sense that the clarity they need requires going somewhere some therapy doesn't go.

I work with all sorts of people, though the niche I've found myself is working with those who have experienced trauma and who are neurodivergent and/or LGBTQIA+. One of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. This is why I offer a free fifteen minute consultations so you can get an idea of whether I would be a good fit for you. We can still work together, even if you might not be part of the niche I described above. Also, important note: I only work with individuals, not couples or families.
