I offer couples, individual and sex therapy.
I offer therapy and supervision. Everyone deserves a space to express themselves authentically and be accepted for who they truly are. I seek to see my clients fully, guiding them in a process of exploration and reflection, and leading them to deeper trust and understanding of themselves. I believe that healing and growth occur through experiencing safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship, and through this experience, my clients develop new ways of interacting with themselves and others. I am able to see clients in OR, WA and IA via teletherapy. Please note that I do not currently accept insurance.

I also know what it is like to overcome shame and guilt, having grown up in a religious environment that had very specific rules and boundaries around sex while simultaneously not allowing you to talk about it.
I specialize in working with sexual concerns, couples/relationships, and neurodivergence. I am passionate about helping couples move from disconnection to understanding and connection. Overall, I love helping folks grow into being their most authentic self. I am queer, trans, non-monogamy, asexuality, and BIPOC affirming.

I am trained in sex therapy & neurodivergent affirming therapy.
You deserve to live fully and freely, to express yourself, and to be heard with curiosity and intent to understand. This often means unlearning behaviors or ideas that may have served us in the past and are now holding us back, releasing societal expectations that feel out of alignment with us, and learning what works for us now. We’ll work together to understand how your past shaped who you are, and to discover how you want to show up today.

I believe that engaging in therapy is a radically courageous act. Exploring and sharing our stories can be terrifying, and doing so may go against the messages you internalized and survival strategies you adopted. Regardless of what brings you in, therapy can help you feel more fulfilled and more richly connected with yourself and others. I know that living in this time and culture can be confusing, painful, and isolating, and believe everyone deserves a space to make sense of it all, to be deeply seen and heard, and to be supported in cultivating a more meaningful and joyful life.

I primarily work with individuals and couples navigating the impact of religious trauma, purity culture, and faith deconstruction in addition to those seeking support related to sex, reclaiming pleasure, and strengthening their relationships.
I support folks seeking to strengthen their relationship to themselves and others after high-control religion. Those who have experienced pain, disappointment, and distress in faith communities are especially drawn to my work because of my lived experience and understanding of relational wounds and hurt that may follow faith deconstruction. It can be isolating to reconsider long-held beliefs or spiritual practices that once held a lot of hope and meaning, and to lose connection with others who don't share your new beliefs.

Despite the cultural fairy tales, we all know that sex and relationships can be very tough.
My sex therapy practice and my relational work are based in the belief that true connection is not compatible with the oppressive cultural scripts that tend to dominate our ideas around sex and relationship. In session, we shake off these scripts and shift the focus toward an authentic connection to your pleasure, your grief, and your voice.

I have made a professional study of relationships, sexuality, alternative lifestyles, trauma, and mindfulness.
Most of our struggles are relational in nature. As a relationship expert, I will guide you toward healing your relational wounds; to step into the self-actualized, meaningful, joyful life you dream of. We all sustain traumas which shape our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. When we understand our protective strategies we can then update our narratives, unburden our traumatized parts, heal attachment wounds, and make room to relate through our highest self. We can learn new skills in communication, somatic regulation, mindfulness, self-awareness, and more fully build the life which best serves our continual growth.

We live in a fast-paced society that values productivity above all else, and it’s easy to lose focus on finding joy in the little things, and fostering relationships that bring us peace. I look at therapy as a chance to slow down and focus on connection, whether that be your connection to pleasure, to your partner(s), or to yourself. Perhaps you find yourself stuck in the same fight with your partner again and again and can’t seem to fix it. Maybe you sometimes feel like you are speaking different languages, and you just can’t find the right words to help them. Maybe trust has been breached and you can't see a way through it.

I specialize in body image, sex, intimacy, cancer survivorship, and other injuries/illness that have changed the body and the mindset.
My ideal clients are interns and associate therapists who feel stuck between what they know and how they show up in session. They often second-guess themselves, feel overwhelmed, or struggle when sessions get intense. They want to be effective—not just get through supervision. We help them close that gap by building clinical confidence, tracking real-time dynamics, and strengthening their ability to lead sessions with clarity. Through direct feedback and somatic awareness, clinicians learn to trust themselves, respond intentionally, and become grounded, effective therapists—not just licensed ones.

Sex Therapy
Who is sex therapy for?
Sex problems are common in relationships. Many people want a better sex life and want to feel loved and desired by their partner. It is difficult for couples to resolve sexual problems on their own because people often feel ashamed to talk about their sexual desires fearing they are not normal, when in fact a very broad range of preferences and behaviors are normal. A sex therapist can help clarify this and other matters.

Why do people need sex therapy?
Many people do not know how to talk about their erotic needs or their emotional needs, both of which are addressed in sex therapy. Couples often live with sexual difficulties for years before seeking help, and in that time, partners may experience so much disappointment and alienation that they may fear their problems mean they are incompatible. Once people experience disappointment, it is difficult to find resolution without help.

What happens in sex therapy?
People have many misconceptions about what takes place in sex therapy. First, it is a form of talk therapy in which partners discuss their sexual concerns; it does not involve touching or physical exploration of any kind. Sex therapy typically helps couples get comfortable talking to each other about sex so that, in the privacy of their home life, they can openly discuss their sexual desires and make decisions about what they want to do. Couples are typically assigned activities to do at home that build intimacy skills.

What kinds of problems do sex therapists treat?
Very often, partners differ in their degree of sexual desire and struggle over how often to have sex. Or they may have fights about porn use or have difficulty connecting sexually after one partner is unfaithful. Men may have problems with premature ejaculation. Women may find themselves struggling to become aroused or to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes partners feel like they have lost the sense of attraction to their partner. These are all common issues dealt with in sex therapy.
