I specialize in women ages 35 to 55 experiencing symptoms of perimenopause, diagnosed with ADHD, and/or exploring their sexual selves. My ideal clients have likely noticed that while they are thriving professionally, they experience greater fluctuations in mood than before, increased brain fog, a sense they can't function at the level they previously could, or find their body to feel foreign or out of control. Whether you have had a child, are in a long term relationship, or find yourself dating again, you may be curious about what is possible for your physical and erotic self moving forward.

You may be a sensitive, intuitive, or a spiritually attuned person who experiences the world deeply and feels easily affected by its pace, expectations, or suffering. Traditional, medicalized or clinical therapy may not have fully resonated. You might be navigating questions of meaning, identity, grief, mortality, or spiritual evolution, and longing for a space that honors your inner life. Rather than seeking to be fixed or diagnosed, you want therapy that supports wholeness, authenticity, and connection to your inner truth. If you find yourself resonating, this may be the space for you.

Our time together starts by exploring your values and learning how we can make the therapy process align best with you, ironing out the wrinkles standing in your way. The significance that the change process has on all of us, and the universality in which we can all suffer, all heal, and all forge tools to maintain wellness in our lives is what's driven me through my over 7 years of clinical experience with adolescents and adults in outpatient, inpatient, residential, and groups settings. All of this informs the values of my practice: Collaboration, Creativity, Accountability, Acceptance, and Patience.

You're exhausted from analyzing why you do what you do. You've read the books, maybe been in therapy for years, and you can name your patterns — but you keep repeating them anyway. You're navigating existential overwhelm while the world expects you to keep working, keep showing up, keep having it together. You feel too much or nothing at all. You're carrying political grief, burnout, or the weight of systems that harm people you love, and there's nowhere safe to process what you're actually feeling. You want to stop performing "fine" and actually connect — to yourself, to others, to what matters.

Just as no two people are affected the exact same way by depression and anxiety, there is no “one size fits all” treatment. What works for one person might not work for another. My passion in counseling is aimed at clinical mental health. Suffering with anxiety, depression, trauma and ptsd can range in severity and symptoms, requiring different interventions. I am eclectic in my approach so that I can meet the client where they need guidance the most. Coming from a strengths-based approach allows me to help the client discover the positive attributes in a situation rather than the negative.

Do you find yourself stuck- having the same arguments, repeating the same patterns- maybe with your spouse, colleague or child? Have you gone through a recent life change and are struggling to adjust or adapt? Feeling stuck can be frustrating at best. It can also leave you feeling hopeless, anxious and depressed. What if you not only understood the forces at play underneath your stuck patterns, but also knew what else to do instead?

I specialize in Perinatal Mental Health. This means I work with individuals who are trying to conceive, currently pregnant, experiencing infertility, miscarriage, infant loss, and those new to parenting. In our work, we'll get honest about the highs and lows of this season. You’ll get to say out-loud, the things many women are thinking and feeling, but dare not voice. My favorite conversations are the ones that start with: "I don't know if this makes me a bad person, but..." I'm going to help you feel “So Normal” about your current experiences making you feel guilt, shame, and uncertainty. Together we'll find your path forward.

Therapy is writing your own story as we embrace the ‘self as inherently fluid’ and that all individuals are capable of crafting new and empowering stories that include a new sense of self. This is a healing journey, and I'm here to connect with you to explore together the trauma, grief, and other challenging life experiences that prevent you from healing, growing and living the fulfilling life you are seeking.

I work with individual adults who are looking to break old patterns, get unstuck, stop obsessing, and live life in alignment with their true values. I want to help you explore these patterns and develop curiosity about where they are rooted, so that you can start making new choices about how to respond to old and familiar feelings. With awareness, you can build a more flexible relationship with your emotions and automatic thoughts. And in today's world, it can be so easy to be overcome by all of the vast unknowns about the future. Let's work together to build new neural pathways and learn how to cope with uncertainty.

You find yourself feeling too much and not enough all at once. You feel stuck. Maybe even broken. Have you ever asked yourself, “Why can’t I just be normal,” or “What is wrong with me?” Sometimes you behave in ways that don’t feel true to yourself or aligned with who you want to be. You fear rejection. You often end up in unhealthy or one-sided relationships. I believe that just by coming to this page there is something fundamentally “right,” not “wrong" with you. Being human is complicated, messy, and can be painful; I feel honored to have the opportunity to support you through challenges in a way that fosters healing and change.

LGBTQ+ Therapists
Do LGBTQ-affirmative therapists receive special training?
Yes. Many therapists who practice LGBTQ-affirmative therapy have completed specialized training, either during their degree program or as continuing education, to learn the core principles of affirmative therapy and how to best support their LGBTQ clients; some have received certifications in LGBTQ-affirmative therapy. Prospective clients should inquire as to a clinician’s background and training to ensure a good fit.
Why might I want to see an LGBTQ-affirming or LGBTQ-friendly therapist?
Queer and gender-non-conforming individuals frequently experience bias and marginalization in day-to-day life. Working with a therapist who understands these unique challenges, as well as accepts and affirms their identity, can help LGBTQ clients feel safe and supported during therapy—allowing them to better navigate their relationships, mental health, and anything else that they wish to explore during therapy. It is important to note that many therapists can be effective in their work with LGBTQ+ individuals, even in the absence of specific training or background knowledge. The most important component in therapy is the alliance between therapist and client, and this alliance can exist between individuals with very different backgrounds.
How can I find an LGBTQ-friendly therapist?
You may wish to inquire about a therapist’s expertise with your specific challenges or concerns—depression, for example, or relationship strife—as well as their past experiences treating LGBTQ+ clients. Prospective clients may also ask whether a therapist has obtained additional training and/or certification in LGBTQ-affirmative techniques.
How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience with LGBTQ issues?
Prospective clients should feel empowered to directly ask therapists whether they have received training or been certified in LGBTQ-affirming therapy; competent therapists will be happy to explain their educational background and preferred approach(es) to help a client find the best match for them. Clients may also wish to ask how a therapist has treated clients with their particular challenges in the past and what they expect treatment to look like.
Are all the therapists listed in the LGBTQ directory themselves members of the LGBTQ community?
While therapists may choose to disclose their sexual orientation or gender identity in their profiles, the LGBTQ directory features not only those who have shared this information but also those who assert specialized training or experience in providing support to queer individuals, couples or families.
