I am a native of Oregon living most of my childhood in Central Oregon. I graduated high school in Redmond, Oregon and went into the Navy immediately after. In the service I was a mechanic on aircraft support equipment and after discharge I worked on airplanes earning my FAA Certification as and Airframe and Powerplants Mechanic. I worked as an airplane mechanic for 6 years and left to be a mechanic on golf courses maintaining the mowers and other equipment. It was during this time I decided to get my education.

Have you been hurt in ways that feel impossible to overcome? Are you holding onto resentment that keeps you from living in the present? Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by intense emotions that keep you from showing up in your day-to-day life. You’re looking for relief, for support, for healing. You’re wanting to live a life unencumbered by the past and without fear of the future. If you are in search of an empathetic, understanding, and supportive environment to make these aspirations feel within reach, I’d love to connect with you.

If this is your first time looking for a therapist, or continuing your journey into self discovery finding someone to connect with may feel like a difficult task. I believe that the most important step in finding success in therapy is connecting with someone who understands you and can hear your perspective and respectfully challenge your thought process. Whether you are someone who comes to this setting thinking, “I don’t even know where to start,” or are coming with a list of tasks to begin working on, I would enjoy getting to know you.

I believe healing happens in safe connection — when you finally have space to breathe, feel understood, and begin to trust your own voice again. My approach is trauma-informed and faith-integrated, meeting you with compassion, honesty, and respect for your story. I work with adults healing from trauma, anxiety, addiction, and the wounds that can come from painful or confusing faith experiences. Many of my clients are recovering from religious trauma or spiritual abuse and want to rediscover their faith—or their sense of self—in a way that feels safe, genuine, and freeing.

He is also influenced by ecopsychology, and believes the effects of geopolitical events can create significant stress and trauma. Clark is interested in the modern sciences in general and has a background in wildlife biology. He is informed about human attachment and is dedicated to continuing to improve his understanding and treatment of psychological trauma. He has not found it helpful to differentiate between socalled “big T trauma” and “small t trauma” – rather, he believes that all of us have experienced deep challenges and traumas in our lives, regardless of psychological and socioeconomic factors.

I like to work with anxiety disorders, particularly people struggling with panic attacks, phobias, and other fears. It's common that people feel that their feared situations are off-limits to them, and I like to help people gently push those limits little by little until the world feels comfortable to them again. I also love helping people explore general life and career goals, hobbies that bring them joy, and ways to communicate that help strengthen their relationships.
