Bridges Community Health is a growing therapy and prescribing collective serving Lane County, Eugene/Springfield and Cottage Grove. We provide therapy and medication management services. We are here to help you set and meet your goals. We provide individual, family, teen , play and couples therapy. We work hard to be available to you and to set your initial appointment in a quick and timely manner. We offer both in person and teletherapy sessions. We have immediate openings at this time. Welcome and I commend you for taking this first step! I love working with people of all ages and utilize relational, humanistic, person-centered, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches. Although I am trained as a generalist, my areas of practice are trauma related issues, depression, anxiety, racial trauma, childhood/ teen issues, and attachment/family of origin issues. Together, we will explore your goals and values while considering places you feel stuck. I would love to support you as you make meaningful changes that feel manageable and life giving.

CHILD, ADOLESCENT , ADULT, AND FAMILY SPECIALIST: Anxiety, Anger, Depression, Relationship Issues, Behavior Problems, Trauma, PTSD, Grief and Loss, Adoption, and Christian Counseling. As a therapist, I draw on a broad palette of treatment modalities that enables me to select the most suitable therapeutic techniques for each one of my clients. Some of the therapies that have proven most successful in my work with children, adolescents, and adults: Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

It's hard to relax and it feels impossible to stop thinking about the constant list of "to-dos." At the same time, you have a sense of dread that fills your day and it's hard to get out of bed. I get it and I'm here to help.

I work with adolescent and adult clients in individual, couples & family therapy. My personal philosophy is that through human connection, we can foster the motivation needed to take brave steps toward seeing an old pattern through a new perspective to create positive change. I use a strengths-based approach & believe in the inherent wisdom of each individual. Therapy serves as a road map, illuminating the path so the client can make conscious choices. My attitude is one of respect and acceptance of each client's self-image and world-view allowing for the creation of a safe, therapeutic container.

If you’re struggling with life stress, major transitions, anxiety, eating/body/exercise issues, depression or other mental health concerns, you deserve the time and space to process. Each meeting that we have your needs come first. I’ve specialized in eating disorders, substance use and comorbid disorders for the past decade and would love to help meet you wherever you fall in your journey toward getting well. I have also served as director at several adult and adolescent eating disorder residential programs which lends to my knowledge of the field at every level of care.

I believe that life transitions can be difficult and transformative for all of us. Struggling during these transitions is common. Often we get through these struggles using our inner strength and by relying on friends, family or other loved ones for support. There can be times; however, when our typical solutions to these life changes fall short, times when we are frustrated, feel stuck and are having difficulty finding a way forward. Those are the times when counseling may be helpful. I'm licensed in both North Carolina as a LCMHC and Oregon as a LPC.

I provide compassionate, creative, and collaborative individual and family therapy that supports people as well as families in navigating through difficult situations in their lives. My goal is to help adults recognize and utilize their personal strengths as well as develop insight about them self to create lasting change that will enhance their life. When working with children and families, I create a safe place for children and adolescents to express their thoughts and work through their emotions. I collaborate with parents, teachers, and medical professionals to develop individualized treatment and support.

In my professional practice, I support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, anger and relationship issues. I support individuals from adolescence through adulthood and find that most of my clients desire relief of mental health symptoms that have taken control of their lives.
