I have been providing professional counseling for the past 20+ years. With the struggles, losses and pain life holds, counseling is an incredible pathway to healing, growth, and life fulfillment. In my practice, I seek to create a safe and secure space for you to explore, understand, and reflect on your current struggles. In our work together, you will learn effective ways to support your stress and overwhelming emotions, develop interpersonal and relational skills, heal emotional wounds, and discover what you need to thrive in your life.

My ideal client is someone experiencing disconnection from their authentic self or is trying to unmask. They might be experiencing anxiety, depression, or emotional triggers related to past traumas with which they are struggling. Perhaps they are interested in understanding more about their neurodivergence and ways to build supportive systems to address symptoms. I am honored to help with navigating questions of identity, gender, sexuality, and building relationships with oneself and others.

I am not currently accepting new clients. Thank you. The collaborative relationship that we create in therapy is a powerful tool for positive change. Therapy leads to increased awareness about the kinds of past and present patterns that cause problems in our lives. As a therapist, I facilitate the change process, increasing a client's coping, self-esteem and self-awareness, and life satisfaction.

I am an Insight oriented, GLBTQIA friendly and anti-racist practitioner. I focus on long-term change and improved well-being while working towards "here and now" self-compassion, self-care and behavioral changes to achieve lasting change. I strive to promote advocacy, social justice and inherent self worth with each client. I work with clients concerned with substance use/abuse, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma and emotional regulation concerns among other areas of concern. Therapy is an opportunity for personal development in a safe, nonjudgmental, respectful, private, and supportive environment. It is natural to feel overwhelmed at times and it is not a sign of weak character to seek help. Through therapy we can learn to manage our emotions more effectively, improve our relationships and communication, bolster our confidence and self-esteem, and minimize our distress. In my work, I strive to create a comfortable environment in which I can assist clients in identifying thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and recurring patterns of behavior that may be impinging on the capacity to experience and create a fuller, more satisfying life.
