We will start immediately working together to explore solutions for current challenges; and focus on building your strengths (not just rehashing the past). I have chosen to move from a counseling practice to one better defined as consultation/coaching. The focus in more on health and growth; payments are out of pocket, with a sliding fee scale. Insurance will not apply.

In my experience, people have unique needs, backgrounds, and challenges. Even common mental health challenges like anxiety and depression look different for each person. I therefore collaborate with clients to find an individualized counseling approach that works best for each person. I draw from a variety of counseling theories, including person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and existential therapy.

Welcome! I see children (4 years and older) adults, parents and families. I am a compassionate, heart-centered therapist. I practice from a holistic and integrative perspective, blending neuroscience, somatic/body-based methods and cognitive-behavioral therapy. My role is facilitator, guiding in changing patterns, improving relationships and living authentically. You will gain a toolkit in our work together. My specialty is working with Talented & Gifted Children & Adults. I am an expert in helping individuals and families navigate school, emotional intensity, and social and emotional development.

My belief is that we enter life with an inherent idea of who we are and what we want to accomplish. As we strive for acceptance, we cover ourselves in layers of others' expectations, eventually losing our ‘selves’ in the process. My desire is to help you strip away these layers to discover who you are at your core. We do this together by using feedback, intuitive healing, trauma informed therapy, dream work and active imagination. We do this by sitting with and listening to your stories of pain and unmet needs. We exchange heavier emotional layers with lighter ones until you can then stand in your own original brilliance.
