I work with adults of all ages, couples, adolescent , and families who are having trouble in their lives with relationships, struggling with daily life, and need someone to help guide them. It is my belief that there is an opportunity for everyone to thrive and to remain connected with others in the process. My approach is to first get to know you in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Once that is established, we then work on a common goal to help improve your daily functioning. I will collaborate with you to assure that the treatment you are getting is what you are seeking.

I am passionate about working with young adults and women. I have worked with varieties of clients from individuals going through life transitions to adolescents with complex issues. Finding a therapist that you connect with is critical to your journey. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and work to create an environment where each person feels listened to and valued as a unique being on their path to complete wellness. I place great emphasis on connection between client and therapist while at the same time using direct approaches to guide my clients to healing and discovery.

Being human isn't always easy, no matter how much we would like it to be. Sometimes we experience events and relationship challenges that shake us to the core, leave our emotions raw, and challenge everything that we think we believe about the world. One of my passions is helping individuals and couples to find coping strategies, process through the difficulties they are facing, and help them move towards healing and growth. I offer a compassionate space that honors all of the emotions and experiences my clients bring to the room, and allow them to process at their own pace, while encouraging them to face difficult things.

I am currently seeing older children (10 and up), adolescents, and adults for therapy. I am currently not accepting couples for therapy. I believe all individuals have strengths and the capacity to meet their full potential. My main approach is to provide a safe and secure environment for clients to process feelings and learn to manage emotions and behaviors. I incorporate play, art, sandtray, and symbolism to aid in the therapeutic process. My therapy dog, Daisy, is present one day a week and is used for animal assisted therapy. Please feel free to email me to discuss getting started with therapy.

I am currently offering both telehealth and in-person sessions at a location in Beaverton. When therapy is conducted in a warm and non-judgmental environment, and an individual, couple, or a family feels safe and understood, it can be incredibly powerful in providing healing and growth from life's difficult past experiences and current challenges. As a strengths-based and client-centered Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work to create a safe place where a client's existing internal strengths are explored and they are able to create goals that build towards healing, growth, awareness, and positive change.

I work with all individuals. That includes individuals with diverse ages, races, genders, sexualities, religions, political stances, educations, living environments, relationships, histories and socioeconomic statuses. I use an eclectic theoretical approach to treatment interventions, starting where you are at and moving toward identified treatment goals with consideration of best practices, which are research based with positive outcomes. After the initial diagnostic assessment; talk, play and creative interventions are utilized. I welcome feedback to ensure our therapeutic alliance and treatment processes are meeting your expectations. If given permission and clinically indicated, I coordinate care and consult with other treating professionals.

Feelings of depression, anxiety, confusion and lonliness are frequent client complaints recently, as are anger and conflict in couples and families. These are difficult times for most of us. Clients want relief of pain and problems and to get back closer to our usual normalcy.

Hi there, I'm Lindsay. I'm a half-Chinese, half-Jewish (ethnically), chronically ill, neurodivergent, fat, queer, cisgender, nerdy human. I generally work with millennials whose main concern is symptoms related to burnout. I believe that all parts of you and your identity impact your well-being and how you move through the world. Therapy here starts with the belief that you are the expert on your own experience and becomes an exploration into what may cause you to doubt yourself, your emotions, your needs and wants, or any other aspect of your life.

No one is spared the trauma of life itself. But, life can also be full of unspeakable beauty, joy, and genuine love. While life can be unforgiving, there are ways of being that can deal much more effectively with what surrounds us. By reorienting ourselves and processing that which haunts us, true change can take place and we can begin to see and enjoy beauty in the midst of suffering, grow in gratitude for life itself despite its harshness, and live virtuously even during trials. These fruits are not born out of naivety but are born out of genuine wrestling with our existence.

I work to help people find greater meaning, clarity and purpose - especially at important crossroads of change. Our view of self can be altered through past trauma, divorce, relocation, loss, illness, and new opportunities for growth can be embraced. Symptoms of anxiety, depression, and past trauma can lower motivation and activate old ways that no longer serve you today.

Teen Therapists
Adolescence can be a time of both disorientation and discovery. The transitional period can raise questions of independence and identity; as adolescents cultivate their sense of self, they may face difficult choices about academics, friendship, sexuality, gender identity, drugs, and alcohol.

Most teens have a relatively egocentric perspective on life; a state of mind that usually abates with age. They often focus on themselves and believe that everyone else—from a best friend to a distant crush—is focused on them too. They may grapple with insecurities and feelings of being judged. Relationships with family members often take a backseat to peer groups, romantic interests, and appearance, which teens perceive as increasingly important during this time.

The transition can naturally lead to anxiety about physical development, evolving relationships with others, and one's place in the larger world. Mild anxiety and other challenges are typical, but serious mental health conditions also emerge during adolescence.
